    Head Coach: Randy Trivers

Gonzaga Football competes on three levels each fall—Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman—with a total of nearly 150 players participating in the program. Varsity Head Coach Randy Trivers completed his 10th year of coaching at Gonzaga during the 2023-24 school year. Trivers was named the USA Today National and Washington DC Coach of the Year in 2018, as well as WCAC Coach of the Year and USA Today Washington DC Coach of the Year in 2015.

The Coach Trivers era has produced four All-Americans, three DC Gatorade Players of the Year and eleven First Team Washington Post All-Met Players. More than 110 football student-athletes have transitioned from Gonzaga's football program to continue their education while playing football. Coach T's program has helped 35 Eagles fly to each Power 5 Conference, including the Atlantic Coast Conference, the Big 12, the Big 10, the Pacific 12, and the Southeastern Conference.

Twelve Eagles have also landed at the three Division I football military academies, and 13 have attended six different Ivy League institutions. In April 2024, Caleb Williams '21, college football's 88th Heisman Trophy winner, and Olu Fashanu ‘20, made history as the highest pair of former high school teammates to be drafted in the same year – with Williams selected number one overall, and Fashanu selected eleventh.

The 136th season of football on Eye Street will take place this fall. Look forward to the six home games on Buchanan Field, including two against Jesuit opponents Fordham Prep on September 6 and Loyola Blakefield on September 13. On this page, you'll find the team’s schedule and roster (when it becomes available in August), as well as results after each game. Go Gonzaga!
