  Greg Ladd, Head Varsity Coach

  Coach Ladd enters his second season as Head Varsity Coach at Gonzaga after leading the Eagles to the WCAC Championship series in 2024.

  
  

  Prior to coming to Gonzaga, Coach Ladd was the Head Varsity Baseball Coach for 7 years at New Hampton Prep in New England.  While at New Hampton, Coach Ladd’s teams won 3 league championships in 5 full seasons (season canceled in 2020, shortened in 2021).  In addition, during Ladd’s tenure, New Hampton players went on to play at DI, II, and III schools (including Stetson University, Northeastern University, Bentley University, SNHU, St. Lawrence University, St. Joe’s College, among others).

  
  

  Coach Ladd played collegiately at Colby College, where he was a starting pitcher and two-year captain (2014 and 2015).  In 2014 and 2015, Colby recorded its first two winnings seasons in over 15 years.  Coach Ladd also played football at Colby.  From Danvers, MA, Coach Ladd went to Danvers High School where he was a three-sport varsity captain as a senior (Football, Basketball, and Baseball) and was First-Team All-State in baseball.

  
  

  Coach Ladd is an Assistant Athletic Director and also coaches Varsity Football at Gonzaga.
