Support the Vinco Scholars Program

Gonzaga's Vinco Scholars Program offers tuition assistance as well as mentoring, support, and tailored resources to deserving Gonzaga students. Support for the program comes in two ways -- through ongoing resources generated by Vinco-focused funds in Gonzaga's permanent endowment, as well as through annual gifts earmarked by donors to the Vinco Program. 
Perpetual Impact: Endowment Support
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of the extended Sheehy family, the Vinco Endowed Fund is the largest individual fund in Gonzaga’s overall endowment. The program's success has inspired others to establish additional funds to support the program. When you make a gift to any of the following endowed funds, you are generously supporting the Vinco Scholars Program.

  • The Class of 1968 Endowed Scholarship Fund

    This fund was established by members of the Class of 1968 in 2018 on the occasion of their fiftieth anniversary of their graduation from Gonzaga. The fund provides tuition assistance for graduates of the Washington Jesuit Academy or other deserving Gonzaga students.

  • The Corey S. Williams-Allen '00 Annual Scholarship Fund

    In gratitude to the Sheehy family for underwriting his Gonzaga education, Corey S. Williams-Allen '00 created this fund to support annual tuition assistance for Vinco Scholars on Eye Street. The gift was given in celebration of Gonzaga's Bicentennial Anniversary. Corey is a proud product of Jesuit education as his undergraduate and graduate years were spent in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts at Boston College.

  • The Lawrence Family Endowed Scholarship Fund

    Rod and Lisa Lawrence sent their four sons, Jack, Ryan, Tyler and Carter to Gonzaga, and have been involved as a trustee, volunteers, and benefactors. The Lawrence family endowed this scholarship during Gonzaga's Bicentennial to provide tuition assistance for students in the Vinco Scholars Program.

  • The Mattie E. Jackson Scholarship Fund

    The Jackson family endowed this scholarship in Gonzaga's Bicentennial year in honor of Mattie E. Jackson, a proud Gonzaga mother (Steven E. Jackson '79) and grandmother (Dr. Jonathan M. Jackson '08). The Mattie E. Jackson Endowed Scholarship Fund supports programming and tuition assistance of the Vinco Scholars Program.

  • The Noreen Lucey WJA Endowed Scholarship Fund

    Established by friends and family of Noreen Lucey, this endowed fund pays tribute to her remarkable commitment and service to the young men of the Washington Jesuit Academy (WJA) by providing need-based financial assistance to Gonzaga students who are graduates of the WJA. 

  • The Quinn Family Endowed Scholarship Fund

    In grateful recognition of the Jesuit mission of Gonzaga and Gonzaga's Bicentennial, Eddie Quinn '86 and family have established this fund to provide financial assistance to Gonzaga students who have graduated from San Miguel School.

Immediate Impact: Current Use Support
In addition to funding from the endowment, the Vinco Scholars Program uses current use funds and annual fundraising to support its programming -- in particular by supporting salaries and benefits for Vinco staff, helping to pay for students' books and other supplies, offsetting fees for service trips and extracurriculars for Vinco Scholars, and more.
