Water Polo Beats Spalding in Dramatic Fashion, Parfomak '27 Leads the Way

Varsity water polo beat Spalding 11-10 on September, 19 in an exciting comeback win. After being down by 5 goals in the third quarter, the Eagles clawed their way back into the game by scoring five unanswered goals.  Chris Delaune '25 tied the game with less than two minutes left, and Kasper Parfomak '27 (who led the team with three assists) scored his 5th goal of the game to put the Eagles ahead with less than a minute left.

The Eagles were able to shut down a last second rally from the Cavaliers to secure the win. Head coach Nick Pugliese '08 said, "Strong performances from goalies Gavin Fore '25 and Jon Prats '27, as well as the support of the Booster Club and the biggest home game crowd of this season, were vital to the victory!"
