Baseball Beats DeMatha, Wins 5th Straight

Gonzaga Baseball has recorded five straight wins and is currently 11-5 overall, and 6-3 in the WCAC.

The five-game win streak is highlighted by road wins against WCAC rivals Good Counsel and DeMatha. In a 12-3 win over Good Counsel on Saturday, April 5 in Olney, MD, the Eagles were led offensively by Luke Forde '25 who had two doubles, four RBI and two runs scored on the day. In addition, Harper Waters '27 crushed his first varsity home run in the win. The combination on the mound of Tyler Majkowski '26, Jackson Schmidt '28 and Colin Madden '26 stifled the Good Counsel offense for the entirety of the game. Here are some great photos from the win:

Brady Cookson '26 and Tyler Majkowski '26 combined on the mound for a two-hit performance, and the defense was stellar throughout the game.
