News of Alumni: Richard Fenati '91 and Trevor Stone '91
Classmates Richard Fenati '91 and Trevor Stone '91 took an 11-day voyage to Antarctica in February, which included a polar plunge south of the Antarctic Circle.
The two are part of a larger group of classmates who have kept in touch over the years by skiing together. But this trip was unique, explained Fenati, and the last continent to check off his travel list. They appreciated “the remoteness, the untouched beauty, the wildlife, especially whales, and the challenge to get there,” he said. “We enjoyed the Drake Passage much more than we expected. Probably being on a boat inside an active volcano in Antarctica, with 'Neptune's Window' just outside our window, was the coolest part. The expedition guides were all experts in their respective fields, which made the outings very informative. If it’s not on your bucket list, you should really consider adding it.”
