Basketball Wins MAIT to Open Season Strong

Congratulations to the the varsity Basketball Eagles on winning the Mid-Atlantic Invitational Tournament on Saturday, November 27. 

“Gonzaga (D.C.) senior guard Devin Dinkins ‘22 scored a game-high 30 points as the Eagles defeated host St. Maria Goretti 81-67 in the championship game of the 39th MAIT on Saturday night, ending the Gaels’ run of consecutive titles at four.” Read more from Yahoo! Sports here. 

Dinkins, who finished the tourney with 60 points, earned the Most Outstanding Player award while Quinn Clark '22 and Jared Turner ‘22 were named to the all-tournament team.

This Saturday, December 4, the Eagles play Whitney Young (IL) at 9 PM in the Chicago Elite Classic at Credit 1 Union Arena.
