Five Cross Country Eagles Medal at DCXC
The cross country Eagles enjoyed perfect weather at the DCXC Invite on Saturday, September 29 at Kenilworth Park in NE Washington, DC. The course is described as being a "fast European style 5k loop course; very slight up and down hills will make for a very quick opening mile; however, there are enough turns and dips to challenge runners and create the need for a strategy."
The day included elementary and middle school racing from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM and high school racing from 12:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Five Eagle runners earned medals:
