Gonzaga Swimming and Diving won the WCAC Championship for the seventh straight year by a final score of 478-452 over DeMatha. On Friday, January 24, our divers gave the team a 41-3 lead over the Stags.
On Saturday, the swimmers swam strong throughout to hold off DeMatha's bid to win the title. Our top scoring racing results came from the following events
100 Fly: Andre Brooks '25 (1st place), Kirk Morgan '27 (3rd place)
100 Free: Palmer Bice '25 (1st place)
400 Free Relay: Brooks, Morgan, Anderson Bishop '25, Bice (1st place)
200 IM: Morgan (1st place), Caden Wilkinson '25 (2nd place)
200 Medley Relay: Morgan, Wilkinson, Brooks, Bice (2nd place)
50 Free: Bice (2nd place)
200 Free Relay: George Thiede '27, Wilkinson, Archie Makepeace '26, Patrick Fisher '28 (2nd place)
100 Breaststroke: Wilkinson (3rd place)
200 Free: Brooks (3rd place)
The Eagles fell to the Stags at the National Catholic Championships earlier this month, but were able to secure the win with a great team effort. “Everybody showed up today,” Bice told the

Congratulations to Andre Brooks on earning All-American times in his 100 Fly (49.39) gold medal performance and his 200 Free (1:39.58) bronze medal performance. The gold medal 400 Free Relay (3:05.28) also earned an All-American result.
