Soccer Advances to WCAC Championship

Soccer beat Paul VI (7-0) and Bishop McNamara (3-0) to advance to the WCAC Championship. The Eagles will face DeMatha at noon at Catholic University on Sunday, November 3. Here are some great video highlights of the quarterfinal win over the Panthers earlier this week:

The team is now 18-0-2 overall and is ranked #24 in the nation by Max Preps and #1 in the area by the Washington Post. Coach Waller's team is focused on their next opportunity, the WCAC final. In the lone meeting between the Eagles and the Stags this year, we came out on top with a 3-1 victory on October 10. The rematch will mark the 17th time in the last 20 years that Gonzaga has played in the WCAC Championship game with our last victory coming in 2022. The game will be the first of four WCAC Championship games to be played at Catholic on Sunday. To purchase tickets for the 12 noon kickoff at CUA, click here.
