News of Alumni: Joseph Aukward ’15

Joseph F. Aukward ’15 was recently awarded an ROTC scholarship with the U.S. Army Reserves. He is currently a junior at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Joseph’s Gonzaga roots run deep – he is the grandson of Joseph A. Aukward ’41 and son of Joseph P. Aukward ’78; the great-nephew of John Q. Aukward ’43; the nephew of Stephen J. Aukward ’67 and Frank J. Rooney ’65, and the cousin of Michael Rooney ’03.
