Rugby Advances at Nationals
Rugby finished the year 17-1 overall, winning the Gonzaga Rugby Classic and MAVRC Championship.
Thursday, May 19th, Rugby began their quest for a National Championship in Elkhart Indiana. Gonzaga entered the tournament as the overall 2 seed.
Gonzaga defeated Greenwich (CT) 57-5 to advance to the National Semifinals for the 13th straight time!
The team will face defending champion #3 Herriman in the semifinals at 5:15pm EST at Moose Rugby Grounds today, May 20.
If Gonzaga wins, they will play in the National Championship game, Saturday, May 21st, at 4:45pm.
