  • GMC Faculty and Staff Welcome Back Luncheon

    Dooley Hall - Lower Commons - -
    The Gonzaga Mothers Club treats the Gonzaga faculty and staff to a "welcome back" luncheon in the Lower Commons at the beginning of each school year.  GMC volunteers decorate the Commons, serve a delicious lunch, and provide raffles and door prizes to the faculty and staff.

    Sophomore & Junior Orientations

    Sheehy Theater
    8:00AM -11:00AM Sophomore Orientation

    11:00AM -2:00 PM Junior Orientation

    Students should report directly to the Sheehy Theater for the orientation assembly. The assembly is followed by a series of rotations, which include sitting for a yearbook photo. Each student must bring the Educational Device he intends to use for the school year to orientation.

    Dress Code: Students must wear a collared shirt; khaki or casual shorts and closed-toe shoes. Sneakers are permissible.

    Lunch: Lunch will be provided.
  • Stone Photography Picture Day - Sophomores & Juniors

    Stone Photography will be on campus on August 20th to photograph all Sophomores and Juniors  for the Aetonian Yearbook.  There is no fee or registration needed to have your photo taken for the yearbook, however, if you would like purchase your picture you can pre-order prints with this form or pre-order online here

    Any questions can be directed to Ciaran Freeman, moderator of the Aetonian Yearbook.

    Please dress accordingly (polo or collared shirts are required).
  • New Families Welcome Orientation and Picnic

    Sheehy Theater & Eye Street
    All freshmen and new students and their parents/guardians are invited to a welcome event on Tuesday, August 20th to kick off their time at Gonzaga.  This is a wonderful opportunity to meet school administration, classmates and fellow parents.

    The evening will begin with a welcome at 6:45pm in Sheehy Theater and then a picnic dinner on Buchanan Field. 

    Attire is dressy casual. Since this is a special event just for new students and their parents, we kindly ask that your siblings remain at home.

    No RSVP is needed

    There is limited parking on campus in the parking garage. Street parking is available after 6:30pm. Please consider car pooling or taking Metro.

    Stone Photography Picture Day - Freshmen

    Buchanan Field
    Freshman will report directly to Buchanan Field and find their homeroom (1st Block) teacher to begin orientation. The initial assembly is followed by various meetings around campus including educational technology activities and sitting for a yearbook photo. Each student must bring the Educational Device he intends to use for the school year to orientation .

    Dress Code: Students must wear a collared shirt; khaki or casual shorts and closed-toe shoes. Sneakers are  recommended, as students will participate in field activities.

    Lunch: Lunch will be provided.
  • Senior Orientation

    Sheehy Theater
    Seniors should report to the Sheehy Theater to begin the day. Senior orientation now includes their Summer Service Seminar and a meeting with the College Counseling Office. Each student must bring the Educational Device he intends to use for the school year to orientation.

    Dress Code: Students must wear a collared shirt; khaki or casual shorts and closed-toe shoes. Sneakers are  recommended, as students will participate in field activities.

    Lunch: Lunch will be provided.

    The academic year will start on Thursday, August 22. We will have a special schedule to celebrate the Mass of the Holy Spirit and to allow all students to meet each of their teachers.

    Formal dress day (dress shirt, tie, and jacket required).

  • Bake Sale

    Dooley Hall - Lower Commons - -
    Gonzaga clubs and teams hold bake sales in order to raise money for their groups. Bake sale are usually up and running by 7:30 am and continue until the end of the lunch periods.  If you are contributing to a bake sale you do not need to send in homemade items, you can purchase your baked goods at any store.

    If you have any questions about the bake sale please contact your team/club moderator or coach.
  • Gala Kickoff and Recruitment Meeting

    Calling all Gonzaga Moms-- Please attend the Gala kickoff planning meeting in Dooley Hall- Lower Commons and learn how to help the Gonzaga Gala!  Dinner will be served at 6:30pm followed by the meeting at 7:00pm.

  • Gonzaga Football in Ohio!! Gonzaga vs. Springfield High School

    Springfield High School Stadium, 701 E. Home Rd., Springfield, Ohio
    The Varsity Football Team travels to Ohio on Friday, August 30 to play Springfield High School. 

    Schedule:  
    6:00pm Gates open to public
    7:00 Kickoff

    Tickets  can be purchased online at Hometown Ticketing  or at the gate for $9/ticket.  Children under 5 are free.  Fans may park in the lots in front of Springfield High School just off of Kensington Place.
